She has spent many years focusing on ballet technique but is currently more involved in teaching and performing Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary. Rebekah has most recently been seen performing with the M.C.P.A. Ballet Ensemble and at the 2008 Royal N.S. International Tattoo.
Rebekah also compliments her teaching schedule by taking class around the city and competing with the professional dance group
FUNKtion who placed first in the professional category of the Eastern Canadian Dance Championships last Spring.
Rebekah works full time at a private Arts based Elementary school teaching Music, Art and Dance, and is the Jazz Chair Person of the C.D.T.A. Atlantic Branch. For the last several years, Rebekah has sat on the Board of Directors of Dance Nova Scotia, a government funded umbrella organization for all dance forms in the Province.
Rebekah has worked on the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo since 2001 as a Seamstress, Dresser, Choreographer, Performer and since 2007 has held the position of Festival Coordinator for the Tattoo.
"Miss Rebekah" is a professional Fine Arts Educator who brings a vast array of talents to her third year of teaching at Nova Dance Studio.
