Nova Dance Studio (N.D.S.) opened its doors under the direction of owner Erin Kim Turnbull McCall in September 2001. There are currently locations in St. Margaret's Bay, Chester & Bridgewater.
Since its inception, N.D.S. has attracted an acclaimed professional staff of international background as well as having produced several accomplished teachers of its own. The Nova Dance staff offers quality instruction at multiple levels of Recreational and Pre-professional training.
BALLET, TAP and JAZZ classes at N.D.S. follow the syllabus of the Canadian Dance Teachers' Association (C.D.T.A.) and where appropriate, students may have the opportunity to participate in examinations as well as local and regional competitions and festivals. Our youngest students begin their studies with CREATIVE MOVEMENT before moving on to more intensive training. Dancers ages 8 and up enjoy HIP-HOP classes while some of our students also study LYRICAL, MODERN, FLAMENCO & CHARACTER/NATIONAL as a part of their curriculum.
